When you use our conversion tools, files are uploaded to our server solely for the purpose of performing the requested conversion. Key facts:
- In-memory processing. Files are processed in server memory and are not written to permanent storage.
- Automatic deletion. Temporary files created during processing are deleted immediately after the converted result is returned to you.
- No access by staff. We do not view, analyse, or share your files. Conversion is fully automated.
- Shared links. If you use the "Share" feature, the converted file is stored temporarily until the expiry time you select, then permanently deleted.
3. Information We Collect Automatically
We collect limited, non-personally-identifiable data via Google Analytics (gtag.js):
- Pages visited, referrer URL, and session duration.
- Browser type, operating system, and device category (desktop / mobile / tablet).
- Approximate geographic region (country / city) derived from your IP address. Your full IP is anonymised by Google before storage.
We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials — EasyKonvert requires no sign-up.
4. Google Ads & Advertising
We use Google Ads to promote EasyKonvert. When you visit our site via a Google ad, the following may occur:
- Conversion tracking. Google may place a cookie on your device to measure whether you completed a conversion (e.g., used a tool) after clicking an ad. This data is reported to us in aggregate — we cannot identify individual users.
